How are you planning to boat the Grand Canyon?
I have been river boating a long time on small and large rivers. Canoes, rafts, kayaks, inflatable kayaks, dorys and catarafts are some of the boats I have floated in. My history of floating on moving water goes back to the canals in Phoenix AZ in the 1960's. My future is going to have more of the Colorado River in Grand Canyon... "The premier river float experience in the world."
How has PanTerra made things easier for you?
I use PanTerra for managing hundreds of river mile waypoints. My friends also give me waypoints. I currently to this date have made 36 different .loc files containing thousands of waypoints. I easily manage all of them with PanTerra. I need PanTerra because my GPS will only hold 500 waypoints. Keeping all my .loc files organized is fun too. It makes using my GPS so easy that I am using it more now. The capabilities of PanTerra are amazing. This summer I am sailing to the Channel Islands National Park off the California coast for ten days. I have .loc files from my last sailing adventure that will come in handy for this trip. New .loc files will be flowing through my eTrex data cable when I return to my computer from the Pacific Ocean.
